2. What we collect and why

• Messages you send us (email address, name, message) to answer your enquiry or correction. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, time, requested page, browser) for security and to keep the site running, deleted after a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Your location, only if you press "Rest areas near me" and allow it in your browser. It is used in your browser to sort nearby stops and is never sent to us.

3. Cookies

This version of the site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

4. Third-party services

• Maps: map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address when a map is shown. Fonts and all other files are served from our own domain.
• Navigation links: pressing Navigate, Apple Maps, Waze or View map opens that service, whose own privacy policy then applies.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to it, and to data portability. Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
